Step Up Day - classes for 2026
Students from Year 1-5 will spend an 1hr with next years teacher(s) next Wednesday 10th December.
This is generally an exciting time for our students. All students will have at least one friend in the 2026 class. If a child is feeling a little anxious about their placement in 2026, it is important that you support them and know that they will be able to do well. Being Resilient is an important value and with parents and staff positive support and encouragement we anticipate that all students will continue to flourish.
Please note that there is no change to class lists. As you are aware the formulation of Class Lists is a complex undertaking.
Grade 5 Leadership / Captains
Our Year 5's presented their Leadership speeches for Captain positions for 2026. They all did a wonderful job. and our congratulations to all students for putting themselves forward for these positions
Year 4 and 5 students vote for the Captains and staff also have input.
All 60 Year six students are seen as School Leaders (all will wear a Leaders badge) with 20 Student Captains Roles.
The Captains will be announced to the students at the end of next week.
In February next year there will be a badge ceremony for the Captains and Year 6's. We will keep you informed.
