Getting to and from school

I have been in touch with the Department of Transport. The proposed school bus route to Birranga College is planned to provide coverage to parts of Clyde and Clyde North shown in the circles in the map below. 

At this stage, they are unable to provide any confirmation for any new school routes and timetables commencing in 2026 until approvals are announced by the government in the middle of December

Thank you for your patience and we will keep you updated on any changes. In the meantime, please see below the answers to a couple of questions you had from the information evening.

1. Where exactly is the school? 440 Heather Grove, Clyde North. See below for map of how to drop off and pick up students.

2. What are the supervision times for students? The school will provide supervision of students from 8.30am to 3.20pm. On occasion, students may be involved in school activities outside of these times. 

   Daily Structure (2026) - Learning begins at 9

   8.45am Students arrive at school

   9:00–10.00am: Period 1

   10:00–11.00am: Period 2

   11:00–11:20am: Recess

   11:20–12.20pm: Period 3

   12:20–1.20pm: Period 4

   1:20–2:00pm: Lunch

   2:00–3.00pm: Period 5

   All students must arrive by 8:45am and be ready to learn with their planner and subject materials.
