Week 9 & 10 Updates

Performing Arts

I'm thrilled to share the video from our recent school concert! Our students put an incredible amount of energy, creativity, and effort into their performances, and it was wonderful to see all their hard work from this term come to life on the stage.

A big thank you to all the families who joined us on the night. Your support, enthusiasm, and encouragement mean so much to the students and staff.

I hope you enjoy reliving the concert and celebrating our performers once again.

Physical Education

On Friday the 21st of November we had our annual Prep - 3 Sport's Day and it was an awesome experience for the students where they got to participate in softball, basketball, cricket, soccer, AFL and some novelty races.

The enthusiasm, sportsmanship and support for one another during the day was an incredible sight to see! Here are some snapshots of the day.

Visual Arts

Wow! What an incredible few weeks it has been!

The Art Show was a wonderful success, and I am beyond proud of our students and their truly outstanding, show-stopping artwork. Their creativity, effort and passion shone through every single piece on display.

There are so many people I would like to sincerely thank, as this event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our school community. A huge thank you to everyone who generously gave their time to help with Framing Fridays: Emma Jackson, Jacklyn Lowry, Khristine Kilby, Fiona Creak, Sarah Watson, Sarah Donlon, Claire McCarthy, Ayami Okazaki, Annalise Matthews, Katarina Nozdrovicziova, Victoria Khroundina, Tam Bower and Natalie Jovanovic. Your efficiency, teamwork and positivity made each Friday such a wonderful event.

I would also like to thank those who helped with the set-up: Hannah Clarke, Annalise Matthews, Grey Dickson and Claire McCarthy, your support was truly appreciated.

My biggest heartfelt thank you goes to my mum and my husband, who were there every single day helping to bring everything together. Your unwavering love, encouragement and support throughout such a big week meant more than I can express. Thank you for helping my vision come to life.

I truly hope you all enjoyed the Art Show with your amazing students. I already can’t wait for next year!

Spanish

During these last weeks in Spanish, all year levels have been busy wrapping up everything we’ve learnt throughout the year. We revisited key vocabulary and conversations through popular classroom games, helping students practise Spanish in a fun, active and collaborative way.

To celebrate the end of the program, students also created colourful murals using collage techniques, bringing together drawings, mini-dialogues, key words and visual elements from our units. These murals reflect not only their learning, but also their creativity and enthusiasm for Spanish.

It has been a joyful end to the year, and I want to thank all students for their effort, energy and curiosity in every lesson.

¡Feliz Navidad y felices fiestas!

I’m already looking forward to seeing you again in 2026 for another exciting year of Spanish learning.

¡Hasta pronto!

STEM

This week in STEM, the students have been experimenting with coding and game design! Preps, Year 1 and 2s have been exploring OctoStudios, learning the basics of coding by starting to create their own interactive games. Meanwhile, Years 3 and 4 have been busy building cities in Minecraft, using their creativity to design their worlds while beginning to explore coding through Minecraft Education. Years 5 and 6 have started to design and create games using Scratch. Their goal will be to create a game that is tailored for a younger year level.

It’s been great to see so much creativity and teamwork as the students start to use code and learn new skills!
