Ms Brea Terris

Dear Families,
The weeks seem to be flying past so quickly, and it’s hard to believe that December begins next week!
This time of year, is full of exciting school events as we begin to celebrate the learning achievements of 2025.
What an amazing night we had at the concert last night! Thank you to all the families who attended—your support means so much to our school community.
The dances were absolutely fantastic! A huge thank-you to Miss Natasha for the incredible work she put into teaching and choreographing each routine. She dedicated so much time, effort, and passion to ensure the students were confident and performance ready.
Our students worked incredibly hard on their performances and were so excited to showcase their talents at the concert. We are so proud of every one of them.
Thank you also to all the families who generously donated to our raffle in support of fundraising at SHNPS.
Congratulations to our raffle winners!
Students will begin to participate in a range of end-of-year activities, including swimming sessions, Year 6 Graduation, the final whole-school assembly, and Step Up sessions to help students transition smoothly into their 2026 classes.
These events are wonderful opportunities for students to celebrate their growth and look forward to the year ahead.
2026 Foundation Transition
Last Friday we welcomed our 2026 Foundation students back for their second transition session. They were very excited about coming back to school and enjoyed the activities!
Hats
Students will need to wear their school hat during Term 4. Hats can be purchased at the office.
Parking
Please be aware that Police and Swan Hill Rural City Council have been monitoring parking on Murlong Street before and after school due to the ongoing building works.
Please ensure bus bays on both Murlong and Chapman Street are kept clear before and after school.
We kindly ask all families to please use the designated school crossing on Murlong Street to ensure everyone’s safety. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
2026 Enrolments
If you know of any families who would like a tour of the school, please encourage them to contact the office.
Thank you to our families who are getting the good word out in the community about our school. 'Word of mouth' is the most powerful form of advertising and consequently, we are fielding many enquiries about our school.
Uniform
Please ensure students are in full school uniform. It is important that students have a school jumper on and not a casual jumper. We have spare jumpers at the office if students need them.
Duty of Care
Families are reminded that teachers are on duty before school from 8.30am-8.50am and after school from 3.20pm until 3.30pm. Children should not be unattended in the school grounds before or after these times. Thank you for your support and co-operation with this.
Have a lovely weekend.
Kind Regards
Brea
