Pevan and Sarah excursion 

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the concert on Monday. The students loved singing and dancing along to the well-known songs and were so excited to see Pevan and Sarah in real life!  

Chicks 

We were very sad to see our chicks leave us!  We know that they will be very happy on the farm with room to roam around and do ‘chick’ things! 

Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Iddles for giving us the opportunity to hatch the eggs and watch them grow. It has been a wonderful learning opportunity that has supported our Science Unit - “Living Things”.  

Curriculum 

We continue to move full steam ahead and have jam packed days with lots of learning. Our Religious Education topic is Advent, the children will learn all about this special time of waiting, hope, and quiet preparation as we get ready to celebrate Jesus’ birth.  We are finalising our Mathematics unit on Place Value and will finish the term with some Measurement activities. In Literacy, we will be consolidating our impressive writing and reading skills.  

Home reading will continue until the end of week 9. We will collect the readers beginning week 10 to ensure we have them all returned by the end of the school year. We kindly ask you to please check at home for any readers that need to be returned.
