2026 Prep Transition
Our 2026 Prep students had a wonderful time visiting the Art Room for their transition session this week. We began by sharing a story together, then the children explored a range of hands-on activities they might experience in Art next year. They enjoyed painting, drawing, colouring-in, scratch art, construction and creative play, confidently diving into each task with curiosity and enthusiasm. We were so impressed by their creativity, positive attitudes and willingness to try new things. We are very excited to welcome these budding young artists to RGLPS in 2026!

Artist of the Month
Chester (3A)
Chester loves to make drawings inspired by one of his favourite games, Roblox. He has been working on his drawings and loves creating profiles for each character he has designed. He wants to encourage everyone who wants to learn more about drawing to keep trying and not give up. He is most proud of a drawing he made in 2023. He was inspired by graffiti and skulls so he started looking at different illustrations of these on Google. After lots of hard work he drew a picture he was really proud of. Chester loves drawing because it is creative and you can make whatever you wish with a pencil and paper.
Keep it up Chester!
