Introduction to Construction Success!
During week 6, a motivated group of Year 9 and 10 students took part in the Introduction to Construction program delivered by NovaSkills.
Students kicked off the experience with a detailed site induction and toolbox briefing before breaking into two groups to measure, cut and assemble a picnic table and benches from scratch.
Over the two days, students demonstrated strong teamwork, problem-solving abilities and practical construction skills. Many have now expressed interest in selecting Construction as a subject when they move into Year 11.
A huge well done to all students who participated — an outstanding effort and a valuable step toward future trade opportunities and thank you to EPP for funding the program.
