STAGE 6

2025 Year 12 Design and Technology                                HSC Major Design Projects

This year we had 17 students complete a Major Design Project for their HSC. Students worked on a design solution for a problem they identified in their first term of year 12. They developed their solution throughout the year using design thinking processes such as research, ideation, planning and management of a major project. We saw some creative ideas develop including storage solutions, gender neutral clothing, sustainable fencing and a laptop cooling device. Special mention to Harrison M. for his exceptional dedication to his project on sustainable fencing solutions for the agricultural sector. Congratulations to all Year 12 Design and Technology students for completing their Major Design Projects!

ENGLISH

Beginning Year 12 With Year 11 officially rolling into Year 12, our senior students have begun their studies of the Texts and Human Experience module. We are already impressed with their maturity, focus, and willingness to embrace the rigours of senior English. As the year ahead intensifies, we encourage all students to remember that the English staffroom door is always open. They are also strongly encouraged to make use of the Study Centre and the Community Study Hub for additional support, quiet study time, and feedback. We look forward to seeing their continued growth as they embark on their final year of schooling.
