Athletics Club

Megan Loffler and Brett Middleton are again running the Pilgrim Athletics Club which is open to all interested Year 2 - 6 students. Sessions are held on Fridays 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th February (until Week 5) from 3.30pm to 4.15pm on the Campus Middle Oval. Please be aware that student supervision on the oval will not commence until 3.30pm.

Athletics Club teaches students skills for competing in long jump, high jump, discus, relays, shot put and running events. This will be a good lead up to Sports Day, SACSA Athletics training and the SACSA & Sapsasa carnivals later in the term.

Students will need to wear shoes suitable for athletics and have a sun hat with them for training. Students will have adequate time to change into their sports uniform after school before training.

The first session is a 'Come'n'Try' event and Year 2-6 families will receive information about providing consent for future sessions via the Compass App early next week.
