Art team
Our fantastic grade 6 art team have been busy behind the scenes all year long (a bit like Santa’s little helpers at the moment).
The team have helped prep resources for junior grades with Mrs Noyce in the art room, design & make a Japanese dragon for year of the dragon for Japanese day
and have continued to decorate outside on murals and poles near the art room precinct to help make our school even brighter, beautiful and colourful for all to enjoy.
Well done team you have done a great job!
Here are some more highlights from the art room:
Our grade 5/6 students voted for slime making as their last wish for 2024 in the art room. It was messy but great fun!
Our grade 3/4 students have been engaged in sculpture making this term. It was quite the creative challenge using wire, foil, raffia and wool to make unique Australian animals inspired by indigenous artists:
Our grade 1/2 students loved sculpting unique birds using plasticine modelling techniques, sequins, bottle tops and a lot of imagination:
Our wonderful prep students have been working hard on creating a city scape scenery for their own superhero characters to fly through and above while saving the world as they go!
