Welcome back families, we have a big year ahead in the sphere of Wellbeing.
We will be implementing the revamped Respectful Relationships units in areas of stress management, problem-solving, help-seeking and emotional literacy.
Cyber Safety will continue to be a termly focus alongside the support of Inform and Empower programs.
Student Engagement and Voice is big on the agenda in our annual action improvement plan, with a student engagement team to be formed to help improve this area of our school.
STAR leaders will now be semester based, giving 8 students in Grade 5 leadership opportunities before Grade 6. A big congrats to our STAR leaders of 2025:
Our teaching staff have just completed Day 3 training in the Berry Street Education model. Day 3 of the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) training focused on Stamina and Engagement. It explores strategies to help students sustain effort, stay engaged in learning, and build resilience. Key topics include:
We look forward to seeing these elements improve and support our students over the coming school year.
SRC will be formed shortly for this year and will continue the work on fundraising for our improved Footy net.
