The 2024 End of Year Art Exhibition for Years 7 to 10 showcased a diverse array of student artworks, including paintings, drawings, photography, and printmaking. This exhibition highlights the creative talents and artistic growth of students, offering a glimpse into their unique perspectives and skills developed throughout the year. Well done to all the students and staff involved.

In the Textiles workroom our students were exposed to state-of-the-art equipment. The students have produced amazing products which ranged from collections of garments through to bedroom décor' collection.

With high quality products and design folios produced in Textiles in 2024, the recipient of the ‘Centre Quilters’ scholarship for 2024 was Alison Jones. Alison received a generous $500 scholarship to assist in the production design folio and product and aided in the costs involved in producing a range of garments. The assistance from this local organisation is highly valued by both students and staff. Alison was also the recipient of the Year 12 Technology award.

In Year 11 Product Design and technology wood, Oscar Harding produced an amazing chest which featured cooper trim. Oscar was the recipient of our Year 11 technology award.

2025 ART NEWS

Welcome back to all staff and students, lets hope 2025 will be a calm and creative year!

Artwork Pickup (Week 1+2)

There is still lots of work left from 2025 in M building, please come by to pick it up, it will be disposed of in WEEK 3.

Art Club (Thursdays)

Will be running THURSDAY lunchtimes with Ms Caddey and Sam Jones in MART2

Years 7-12 are all welcome, come along to work with watercolour, polymer clay or your own choice of creative activity.

Drawing Studio (Term 1)

The drawing studio will be running in central area of M Building from Week 3. We will have easels out and be working on large drawing projects with Year 10 and 11. I am sure this area will be treated with respect! Thank-you in advance.
