Principal's message

Recently our Pope was in the French island of Corsica, he stopped  at the Basilica of St. Mary Major  to pray  to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

As he finished praying in the chapel, the Pope paused to pray for a moment with those participating in the Living Nativity Scene in the Basilica.

"I greet you joyfully in this Christmas climate, because Christmas always brings us joy," he said.

"Christmas brings us the tenderness of a child, and this gives us hope.

""Christmas brings us the care of a mother, Our Lady, who accompanies us our whole lives,"

"It brings us the example of St. Joseph, who worked tirelessly to carry his family forward.

The message of Christmas is always the family."

We urge everyone to remember that Christmas is about the family.

At the heart of Christmas is our Holy family and our own family, the gathering of loved ones and the remembering of those loved ones who are no longer with us.

May your family Christmas be Peace filled, and your heart be lifted in praise this Christmas for the wonderful gift of Jesus and the joy He brings to our lives.

Amen.
