Principal Reflections

Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to a new and exciting school year! I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating break, filled with moments that brought joy and inspiration. As we step into this year together, I am filled with enthusiasm for the opportunities that lie ahead.
Education is more than just academics - it is about shaping character, fostering innovation, and nurturing future leaders. This year, I want to emphasise our schools Vision Statement:
"With Christ as our guide, we aspire for our staff and students to be the best versions of themselves as we develop the capacity to make a positive difference in our world."
Each of us, whether student or staff, has the potential to be the 'best version of themselves.' This is achieved by setting positive examples, encouraging those around us, and working together to achieve goals. Our everyday work, here at St Ed's, ensures integrity, empathy, and being committed to lifelong learning. Our Vision Statement continues to shape the culture of our school, ensuring that every individual is empowered to reach their fullest potential. I look forward to an incredible year of growth, achievement, and shared success!

Thank you for your cooperation and for being valued members of our school community. Please take the time to read the 'Positive Partnership Commitment' document that outlines the key responsibilities of our parents or carers.
Classroom Visits
It has been absolutely wonderful to visit our classrooms and see our students so settled and engaged in their learning. The calm and focused atmosphere in each space is a testament to the nurturing environment our teachers have created and the enthusiasm our students bring each day.
A big thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families for ensuring such a positive start to the term. I look forward to seeing this energy and curiosity continue to grow throughout the year!
Peace & Best Wishes.
Keep smiling,
Alison Hatton
