Prayer for the Sacrament of Confirmation

Many of our students in year six will be making their sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday, 25 July 2024 at 5:00pm in the St Laurence's Church. Bishop Greg and Father Stanly will lead this very special service.

Please pray for the 2024 candidates preparing to make their Sacrament of Confirmation.

Holy Spirit, strengthen our students with your gifts of :

Wisdom …… Make them wise.

Courage …… Strengthen them.

Right judgement …… Guide their thoughts.

Understanding …… Enlighten them.

Reverence …… Teach them respect.

Knowledge …… Inspire them.

Spirit of wonder and awe …… Help them find you in all things.

 Grant that they may grow into the fullness of the stature of Christ. Fill them with the joy of your presence.
