Hi all

On Friday, St Louis de Montfort hosted the first ever Chlsea and Patterson District Hot Shots Tennis Tournament.  It was a great way to finish off our tennis program.  Our boys won their final and our girls team finished second.  Our year 5s also entered a boy and girls team and that will hold them in good stead come 2025.

I would particularly like to thank Trish Angliss from the St Louis Tennis Club.  She has allowed our students maximum opportunities to use the court by always having nets set up and access to the courts during playtimes.  Trish's efforts were on display today with 40 students eagerly representing the school in tennis.  

Our mixed netball team traveled to Springers for the Kingston Division finals.  They lost one game in the 3 pool games and missed out on the finals unfortunately.  The team had a few players who had never played netball before this year so it was good to see the players gel quickly and pick up a unique sport.  It is the only “invasion game” sport where players can not move forward when they have possession of the ball.
