Meet Muffin the pigeon!
Almost every day, a friendly pigeon named Muffin comes and visits students in the art room. Muffin is very friendly and has lovely lilac colours in his feathers. Foundation students created these mixed media artworks based on Muffin and we can’t wait to show him!
They were inspired by the mixed media artworks by Australian artist Aiden Weichard who uses bright colourful layers in different materials. We had fun experimenting with oil pastels, watercolour paints, crayons, textas and pencils.
