Girls Football
On Tuesday the 23rd of July some girls in the grades 5/6 and grade 4 went to the Jack Eddy oval in Moama to compete in the inter school girls footy. Our girls team played incredibly well. Some of the teams we played were Twin Rivers, Moama Grammar, Echuca East and Rochester/Lockington. We were lucky enough to beat Twin Rivers and Rochester/Lockington. We drew to Moama Grammar and unfortunately lost to Echuca East. Over all we had a super fun day and all the girls played amazing. Thanks to Mr Hogan for giving up his lunch times to coach us and to Meg for helping on the day. Written by Ivy B
Boys 2 the Bush
Thursday 18th July we went to Echuca for Boys to the Bush building to talk about rules for the program. We had 30 minutes of free play to play with things like ping pong, pool, basketball or mountain bikes and scooters. After our play we went to Moama on the Murray and shovelled a big pile of rocks in a garden for decoration. After that was finished we went to a fish and chip shop for lunch and received potato cakes, dim sims and chips. Lastly we went to a place on the river to make huts out of sticks and whatever you could find and then we finished with a game of basketball before heading back to school. Written by Ace.McK

We got on a bus and went to Mt.Hope to climb, after the climb we went to Waffles in Cohuna for lunch. I had a choc brownie waffle, it was really filling. We then took fishing rods and we put them in the water at the park, we also had a kick of the footy and then came back to school. Written by Brax.E
5/6 General News and Reminders
Please encourage your child to wear school uniform, including their school jumpers as the Grade 5/6 students are the leaders of our school and set an example for the rest of the school. We discourage footy shorts and casual jumpers, students will be asked to remove casual jumpers and replace one with lost property unless a class teacher is notified with a reason.
At TPS we do not tolerate swearing, if a child is heard swearing they will be required to phone home and explain the reason of the call.
