Annual General Meeting 29 November 2023
This is where our current office bearers will be stepping down and a new committee is formed for 2024.
Please consider joining our committee for 2024 at this meeting, whether it be as a general member or an office bearer. Contrary to popular belief, it’s important to know that if you attend a meeting, you will not be automatically be given a job to do.
We do however, require a minimum number of attendees to hold each meeting. It’s okay if you can’t make every meeting. Meetings are held generally week 3 and week 8 each term on a Wednesday night.
We have a very successful system due to our committee volunteering their own valuable time for many years, and a number of our office bearers have served their time and are moving on.
If you take on a role, you don’t have to be present at every single event. We all have other commitments, and it’s a supportive team. Many hands make light work. At this meeting, we will also be discussing our plan for 2024 in terms of fundraising activities, and what our funding will be spent on for our school. Do you have ideas or a wish list? Your input is very welcome. If we don’t form a committee at our AGM, the future of our fundraising activities and canteen is uncertain.
Did you know that our Healthy School Approved canteen is run by our P&C?
