Christmas Toy Fund

Last Monday's Christmas Toy Fund assembly was an absolute joy, to say the least!  It was wonderful to have many families attend which created a beautiful, warm sense of community.  It was endearing to hear children singing and needless to say, the gymnasium was packed with smiling faces! 

The theme around giving to others less fortunate than ourselves was clearly evident with many toys spread across the display.  Sincere thanks to students, families and staff for your generosity.  We are also grateful to Captain Chad Cole from the Salvation Army for attending our assembly to accept the gifts. As he reminded us, Christmas time can be extremely challenging for many families who are faced with financial struggles, poverty or homelessness, so every act of kindness makes a difference to others' lives.

Our Junior School Council worked very hard behind the scenes to plan the event. Once again, a huge thank you to our student leaders for their excellent and meaningful work!
