Cobey Davis
Last weekend Cobey competed in the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships in Perth. Cobey originally qualified to compete in only the U16 boys pole vault, but was also selected to be part of Team SA in the 4x400m mixed relay with some fantastic teammates.
Cobey gained a personal best in pole vault, achieving his goal of the tournament and clearing 3.0m, placing 6th overall.
The relay team had a great run with stiff competition and finished in 5th place with a time of 3:49.26.
Cobey had a brilliant weekend, and even met Olympic Pole Vaulter Kurtis Marschall too.
Well done Cobey, these memories will last a lifetime!
