Senior Years
Senior Years Service
The final year Senior Service was a perfect opportunity for the current Year 10 and 11 students to reflect on, celebrate and conclude 2023.
Beginning with worship, Pastor Chris reminded Year 10 students that they have 15% and Year 11 students 8% of their education left to complete. He also encouraged us to deeply consider what we were taking away from this year. This was a calling for us to think beyond what we have learned in each subject and to value every opportunity as a learning experience and, as always, to live out our values of Love, Courage, Forgiveness and Hope.
The Year 10 student representatives reflected and discussed the emotions of becoming brand new senior students and getting to wear blazers for the first time. They got to explore subjects more closely with intense Outdoor Education Camps and inspiring Art and Design Exhibitions. Relationships as a cohort and with teachers grew closer as the Year 10 students started their senior school journey.
The Year 11 recap reflected on double Mathematics, selecting individual Science subjects and deciding on subjects for the next two years to fulfil future goals and passions. While anxiously anticipating our final year of high school, the Year 11 students discussed the opportunities presented to them when on camp in Melbourne.
The Student Action Team members were acknowledged for their tireless contributions to the College.
Awards were also presented to senior students for Academic Achievement and Application for this semester. Stage 2 Year 11 students were awarded for their achievements in their Year 12 classes.
Students were also honored with Endeavour Way Awards, the Australian Defence Force Future Innovator and Long Tan Leadership Award as well as the Lutheran Women's Encouragement Award, which acknowledged the efforts, commitment and admirable characteristics of a number of students.
This service was imperative to highlight and celebrate the dedication, hard work, relationships and community building embraced and enhanced by the Year 10 and Year 11 students this year.
Congratulations to the following awar.

2024 Student Executive
LESNW Schools Leaders Day
On the December 5, the 2024 Student Executive travelled to Tatachilla Lutheran College for the LESNW Schools Leaders Day. The day aimed to develop leadership skills and facilitate connections between student leaders from Lutheran Schools.
The leadership activities included a
self-reflection, group brainstorming, and an analysis of influential leaders, which then led into a teamwork activity based on orienteering. This was a great opportunity to get to know other leaders and learn a little more about their context and experience, positions and schools.
The final activity involved discussing what legacy means in terms of leadership, and we were set the challenge of creating a mission statement that conveys what we wish to achieve as the Student Executive in 2024.
2024 Student Executive Mission Statement:
“To serve and advocate for Endeavour’s diverse community by fostering inclusivity, nurturing creativity, and embracing connections through the Endeavour Way values.”
The day was an enjoyable and educational experience that has further helped us to develop and reflect on our leadership skills moving into 2024.

Cambodia Service Trip:
An account from the Students
Only days after Year 12 Valedictory, four Endeavour graduates set off for an adventure to Cambodia, through an opportunity presented by an organisation called yLead.
Chelsea Friedrich, Molly Pearse, Isabella Marafioti and Sienna Edwards alongside 30 other likeminded individuals spent eight days exploring Siem Reap, immersing ourselves in the culture, understanding the history and volunteering at a local school called Feeding Dreams. We spent three incredible days teaching the students English and Mathematics whilst singing classic songs such as ‘Hokey Pokey’ and playing fun games such as ‘Duck Duck Goose’.
Visiting the slums where some of these children live was an experience we cannot accurately put into words, inducing strong emotions and changing our perspectives on gratitude and service.
Cambodia is a beautiful country with impressive temples and a rich history.
We are beyond grateful for the College and their connection to yLead which led to us learning about this trip.
We strongly encourage students to consider adventures such as this one when they reach Year 12 as an alternative to Schoolies.
We are certain our time in Cambodia is not over yet and the connections we built with the school and the beautiful students will last a lifetime.

An Account from Leadership
The excitement and impression this opportunity had on our students comes through also as a call to action.
What a great example of the Endeavour Way in Action – our students generously sharing their time to serve and impact the lives of others.
The students were inspired to suggest that the College sponsor a child to attend Feeding Dreams. Or potentially a child to attend both Feeding Dreams and general Khmer School, which builds to them working on specialist subjects and progressing into higher education. The students were impressed by this incredible organisation, noting a sponsorship through yLead and Feeding Dreams would not only ensure a child is getting to school and receiving an education, but also supports the families of these children.
Isabella, Molly, Chelsea and Sienna truly believe this would be an incredible way for the College to build on the connection made with yLead, Feeding Dreams and these children.
We will look for an opportunity to pitch their ideas with the Student Executive in 2024.
