From the Principal

Dear Families,

We hope this letter finds you in good health.

On behalf of the Endeavour College Board and myself, we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your continued support and trust in our College.

As we strive to provide the best education and facilities for your child to grow, develop, and learn, we must also address the rising costs of resources and services.

The Board chose not to increase fees in 2023. As interest rates rise along with utility costs, camps, insurance, and with an ongoing commitment to investment in our staff, there will be a 2.5% increase in tuition fees starting from 1 January 2024. This decision was reached after careful consideration and analysis to ensure the continued quality and sustainability of our educational offerings.

This increase is moderate compared to many other South Australian schools and the increase is well below the current consumer price index in Adelaide.

We understand that fee adjustments can be challenging for families, and we are committed to being transparent about the reasons behind this increase.  As you know, we recently launched our Strategic Plan 2023-2027. This plan reflects our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement as evident under the four strategic pillars:

  1. Our Lutheran Faith, Identity and Community.
  2. Our thriving Learning Culture of Excellence and Purpose
  3. Our Personal and Professional Growth
  4. Our Sustainable Future

We want to continue to provide outstanding educational outcomes and invest back into school facilities, educational resources, and overall learning environment.

We have commenced work on the Discovery Centre, providing smart classrooms that use virtual reality and augmented reality technology for experiential learning across all subjects linked to the Australian Curriculum. Work has begun on this exciting project, and we are aiming to have this completed by the start of the 2024 school year.

We are also pleased to announce an upgrade will commence in Term 2 to our outdoor play space with increased play equipment, a climbing wall, outdoor table tennis tables, outdoor volleyball space, vertical scramble net, suspended tunnel, monkey bars, and climbing cubes.

We would sincerely like to thank you for your ongoing support. The sense of partnership and dedication within our community to sustain a positive, caring learning environment in which our students flourish is inspiring.

Being thankful isn't just for the Christmas holidays. Scripture tells us to be

"thankful in everything, in all circumstances"

(1 Thessalonians 5:18).

When we find ourselves overwhelmed with burdens and worried about tomorrow, we can praise God for who he is and his promise to never leave us or forsake us.

We have been blessed with the gift of salvation and eternal life!

Safe holidays.
