YEAR 5/6 NEWS
Inspired by Shaun Tan’s wordless books, the 5/6s have created their own. Over the last few weeks in reading, we have learned an array of visual literacy strategies authors use to engage the reader. Some key points are salience, vector, framing, colour and composition. This is important to convey meaning as there is none to very limited narration within the text.
