Tour De Newham

We had such a fun adventure last Monday riding and walking in the beautiful sunshine. Thanks so much to all the parents who joined in. It was also nice to have a few spectators as we went around the streets! We really appreciate the Hanging Rock Winery welcoming the peloton taking a break on their property and riding around their driveway. We saw some great resilience as students chose the activity that was right for them, adjusted their riding speed and kept on pedalling uphill. This kind of fun experience helps grow children's connection with community and nature, contributing to their wellbeing.

Happy Diwali!

Students in F1 celebrated Diwali (The Hindu Festival of Lights) be creating their own sand rangoli. They dyed sand various colours, planned a design, and then created their rangoli outside on the concrete.

Passion Projects

This Term students have been looking at information reporting and fact writing. Students incorporated this writing with their ICT knowledge to create a ‘passion project’ on any topic that they were passionate about. Students used their known facts of a topic and utilised their research skills to find further information to write about. There was a wide range of topics from animals, to sport to famous singers. Students created a PowerPoint presentation for the class and received feedback from their peers.

Kyneton Show congratulations

Perhaps some of our families went to the Kyneton Show recently and saw our display. Below is our ribbon for the exhibit we provided. It included some of our sustainabilty work on Bogong Moths and Bilbys as well as craft work from weaving and textile picture making.

Congratulations to Iris, Quinn, Jessie and Audrey on their Highly Commended awards from the Show.
