SACSA Touch Football

Our trophy cabinet just keeps filling up!

Another successful SACSA carnival for Endeavour with our Year 9/10 Boys taking out 1st place in a comprehensive display over the entire day of the SACSA Touch Football Competition. The confidence was high going in, with many of the boys playing social competitive touch together and possessing natural ability. A great reward for the lads. Our two Year 9/10 Girls teams tied for 7th and have plans to put in the extra work required for a medal next year.

The Year 7/8 Boys Gold team finished in 5th place after weeks of trials and practice, lead by our student coaches. The Silver team finished 13th.

The Year 7/8 Girls had a competitive day but only managed 14th position, finding it hard to capitalise on field possession and opposition tactics. All in all, the building blocks are there for future success.

Imogen Healy

Imogen recently competed in the 2023 AusCycling BMX National Series and National Championships in Shepperton.

Sponsored by DK Bicycles, Imogen achieved 2nd place in 16 Girls for the National Championships and 2nd in Superclass for the National Series.

The BMX National Championships is the premier event on the Australian BMX calendar, bringing together riders from 5 to 60 years of age, representing all levels of sport from grassroots through to high performance.

This year Imogen has also won the South Australian State Championships for the 9th time in a row within her age group and secured the win for the first time in Superclass.

Formally coached by Anthony Dean, South Australian Olympian, Imogen has her sights set on joining the Junior Elite Circuit with the long-term goal of progressing onto the global stage, the 2028 Olympics. Currently training 6 days a week, we have no doubt Imogen will make her mark in this sport.

We can't wait to see where BMX racing takes you and all the best competing in the UCI World Cup next year!
