New Discovery Centre 

(Library upgrade)

Endeavour College has partnered with Adelaide-based learning lab firm Lumination as part of the Library (Discovery Centre) upgrade.  Learning Labs are smart classrooms that use virtual reality and augmented reality technology for experiential learning across all subjects linked to the Australian Curriculum. This project will include a Library refurbishment with an immersion zone, group zone, collaborative and individual spaces, as well as the relocation of ICT and Library Offices.  

Work has begun on this exciting project, and we are aiming to have this completed by the start of the 2024 school year.

Valedictory Service 

Yesterday evening we farewelled the class of 2023 in front of their families at the Valedictory Service and Celebration Supper. This is a wonderful tradition and a truly special evening. All staff from all of the different areas of the school attended this wonderful event held on campus. I would like to thank all of the Endeavour staff both past and present for their guidance, support and care of this wonderful group of students. 

Please see below extract from my address.  

“Today marks both an end and a new beginning for our graduates. A time for parents to both honour their child’s accomplishments and a time to worry as they embark on their next journey.  

But parents let me put your mind at ease, your child is very well prepared for whatever they choose to pursue after Endeavour. And this is due to our partnership, in providing them with the skills for life beyond the classroom, as they follow their curiosity and passions with a sense of independence, purpose and with an empathetic understanding of the world, ready to be the next force of change-makers in our society.  

Graduates, our warm congratulations. Just 14 short years ago, you wandered into the kindergarten classroom to start your learning journey. Today, you are about to walk through the school gates as students for one last time. 

You are graduating at a historical time as we conclude the celebration of Endeavour’s 25th Anniversary. Reflect for a moment on that history. On those who have gone before you - developing our philosophy, our values, and bringing them to life. While not all the opportunities were available to you due to COVID, you learned to be resilient and embrace change, turning challenges into new opportunities. 

In the words of our founding principal, Mr Mike Leske, 

“I want the Endeavour graduate to show strong principles of respect for family, communities and our world, and advocate for the vulnerable with authentic voice and action."

"Mr Leske would be proud of each of you, our graduates, and so am I”.
