Ripper Families

CARNIVAL THIS SATURDAY 12-6PM

Last chance to help at Ripponlea Primary’s most fun day of the year! We’re a small school with a big heart - so sign up to help on the day and get amongst it.

All it takes is 2 hours of your time to help make this Ripponlea’s best event yet and raise much-needed funds for the junior playground upgrade!

*If you have already signed up, please check the schedule to familiarise yourself with the time and area you will be working.

Child Safety

Please remember that the Carnival is open to the public and it is your responsibility to ensure your children are supervised by you, in a manner you are comfortable with.

It would be great if you could let your child know that if they get lost or need help on the day they should do the following:

* Head to the main stage

* Look out for helpers in high vis vests

* Head to the ticket tables

Anyone at these locations will help out our rippers.

Early-bird Rides – LAST CHANCE!

Buy your unlimited rides wristband now and save $10 per wristband!

Early-bird price: $40 (CLOSING SOON)

Bring in your marquees and clothing racks

Thank you to those who’ve offered to loan their marquees/clothes racks for the day - it’s now time to bring them into the office. Weather sun or rain, we’d love to get some more marquees to protect our stalls and volunteers - just bring them into the office.

You can also add heat press prints to your t-shirt with a range of Rippstock images. Visit the T-shirt Press for your instant prints first, then bring your tee over to tie dye.

And make your own lava lamps for $5!

This will be a loungey setup so you can come and chill out on the cushions in this space.

Reduce, re-use, recycle at Rippstock

As part of embedding sustainability into everything we do here at Ripponlea Primary, look out for bins placed around the school with coloured signage on what goes in which bin.

We will also be collecting cans and bottles as part of the container deposit scheme, with money collected going to a charity chosen by the sustainability leaders.

Everyone can do their part to protect the environment for our next generation by looking carefully at the signage provided on the bins, which will look like this:

Please also remember to bring your own bags for shopping and Keep Cups to reduce waste at the coffee stand on the day!
