Garden Club

Garden club news!

Firstly, I would like to say congratulations to everyone who attended the Garden club this year! You did such a great job caring for the garden and the fruit plants, helping to keep our pollinators happy as well as the bugs and worms who work hard to keep our soil healthy.

You managed to grow tomatoes, onions, garlic, peas, rosemary, mint, oregano, sage, carrots, bell peppers, spring onions and raspberries. You watered the plants, pulled out some of the biggest weeds, planted seedlings and showed love and respect for nature and the incredible way it feeds and looks after us.

Thank you to our incredible Environment Captains, Genevieve and Grace who have been wonderful leaders. They have led by example, attending regularly and encouraged and helped the younger students to learn, love and enjoy the garden. We hope you have a blessed Christmas and summer break and we look forward to seeing you in the garden next year!
