Auslan

It has been a pleasure teaching Auslan to all students this year. In these final weeks, we have been focussing on improving our fingerspelling speed. Meanwhile, the Year 3/4 students have been preparing for the upcoming Christmas carols by rehearsing two songs: Father Welcomes All His Children and Away in a Manger, which they will perform at the event.

Earlier this term, students expanded their vocabulary by learning key signs for various zoo animals, aligning with our recent whole-school zoo excursion – a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone. 

A heartfelt thank you to the generous individual who donated a game to our classroom. As I am unaware of your identity, I cannot thank you in person, but your kindness is deeply appreciated.
