3/4 Beach Walk...
The 3/4 Community and parents enjoyed a glorious day at Woolley’s Beach on Friday, celebrating the last Beach Walk of the year with a sausage sizzle. The students investigated the facilities as part of our Inquiry this term. We are exploring the ways the government and local councils support the community to lead healthy lifestyles through the recreational reserves and activities they provide and maintain.
The 3/4 Community have been regularly walking to Woolley’s Beach being scientists observing the changes in the environment during each season, building an oyster reef, observing the growth of the mangroves and the erosion along the shore and investigating migratory shorebirds. We have been supported by Arne, the Ranger during the year and other experts in the marine/bushland fields.
It really is WONDERFUL WOOLLEY’S BEACH, we encourage you to explore it!
