Mission Month
I wanted to take a moment to share some of the incredible initiatives happening within our school community during Mission Month. These activities reflect the deep learning our students are engaging in around Catholic Social Teachings, particularly the dignity of every human person, and how these teachings inspire action.
This week, the Jerusalem and Ephesus Communities have been immersed in meaningful activities that highlight the importance of this mission work. While this message is addressed to their families, it serves as a wonderful example for all of us to see the impact of our collective efforts.
Additionally, we were privileged to have Sandra from our admin team speak to the Damascus Community about the essential work of St Vincent de Paul Society in supporting those in need within our local area.
Meanwhile, the Jericho Community have hosted a casual clothes day to raise funds for a Cambodian school today, further extending their learning into action that makes a real difference.
These activities not only provide hands-on learning but also deeply connect with Jesus’ message of love, compassion, and service.
We encourage families to continue these conversations at home, helping students understand the “why” behind their efforts and how they are contributing to a larger mission of hope and care.
Thank you for your ongoing support in fostering this spirit of mission and learning within our school. Together, we are shaping a community that actively lives out the values of faith and service.
