Year Four - Spotlight on Learning
Dear Parents,
This week students participated in the Athletics Day! The students wholeheartedly embraced the activities, showcasing remarkable enthusiasm and fantastic sportsmanship as they cheered their teammates on to achieve their best in every event.
A big thank you also to the parents, families, and friends who came along to support the children throughout the day.
During Mass, the students beautifully demonstrated our school value of Respect, showing reverence, attentiveness, and thoughtful participation throughout the service.
Our Learning Focus this week . . .
Religious Education focus: Students will be learning about how the Feast of Christ the King marks the end of the Church's liturgical year, while Advent begins a new year, ushering in a season of preparation and hope.
Mathematics focus: This week students will be comparing the geometric properties of two and three dimensional shapes.
English focus: Students will continue exploring our new novel "The Iron Man" in which they will develop their knowledge on key vocabulary and summarising the text.
Social/ Emotional Learning & RRRR: Students will continue to work on "Help Seeking" strategies to give and seek help.
Auslan: Students will be revisiting the units that they have been learning about signing different birds and animals.

Reminders
Term Four - ALL students must wear a school hat for recess and lunchtime. ALL students need to be in school uniform for the excursion.
