We are learning to analyse the features of a persuasive text. 

VOCABULARY

Persuade - to make someone do or believe something by giving them a good reason to do it or by talking to that person and making them believe it.

Analyse - to consider in detail so you can figure out the workings or meaning of a text.

Ask your child to analyse the image below and answer these questions.

1. How does this image make you feel?
2. What do you think the author’s message is?
3. Do you think the author has conveyed his message effectively? Why/Why not?
