Inspiring Talks and Career Insights at Our College
This week, our College welcomed some remarkable guests who shared their experiences and career insights with our students.
Brad Ness, former Para-Olympian and current Head Coach of the Australian National Paralympic Basketball Team, visited our College to share his journey. Growing up on a farm in Wagin, WA, Brad faced challenges but never gave up on his dreams. He spoke about the importance of setting goals and overcoming obstacles, inspiring our students to pursue their aspirations with determination.
Representatives from Nutrien Ag Solutions and BASF both leading agricultural companies, also spoke to our students. They highlighted the diverse career opportunities available in agriculture and the role of innovation in shaping the industries future. These talks provided valuable insights and inspiration to our students, empowering them to explore new paths and strive for success in their chosen fields.

Gate to Plate Challenge
Mr Curran has been busily planning the Gate to Place Challenge in Albany next week. Students involved in the challenge will be departing the College at 12:30pm on Tuesday 26th of March and returning on Thursday 28th March at approximately 2:00pm.
Students and staff will be staying at the WA College of Agriculture – Denmark and will be required to wear their full class uniform for the challenge. Students will be traveling in their sports uniform. Good luck to all involved.
Student Rosters
The weekly student roster for Farm has been completed and is displayed around the College. Year 10 and 11 students are encouraged to take special note of the Weekend Stock Roster as their attendance is a requirement of their Farm learning program.
