Early Learning Centre News

This year the Early Learning Centre has welcomed our Qualified Early Childhood Teacher Karen Guidici into the space. Karen has worked at Mount Carmel College for a number of years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the sector. 

Her focus for Term 1 has been around building positive relationships with the students through her fun experiences based around nature. As well as helping to establish a great sustainability program for the educators and children. 

Our Early Learning Centre students shared the following with their Centre Manager Michelle when asked about Mrs Guidici:

Over the next few weeks Karen will be implementing Nature Play as part of the curriculum. The children will have the opportunity to play on Country at a local reserve. Karen works in the ELC space on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning providing an enriching and engaging learning environment.
