SSATIS Athletics Carnival

This is a great effort for the team and it shows that their hard work and commitment to early morning training pays off. There were exceptional individual performances, and competitors in every event doing their best.  Many students stepped up in events they weren’t expecting to.  Congratulations to all team members and their wonderful coaches.

Secondary Volleyball

The Secondary Volleyball roster has been a huge success this term, with 5 teams representing Mount Carmel in the Monday afternoon roster.

The Year 7/8 roster includes 15 teams, with the Year 8 team currently sitting in 3rd position with 5 wins from 6 matches.   The Year 7s are still learning the ropes and are looking forward to a session at lunch this week with a Volleyball Tas Coach.

The two year 10 teams played each other last Monday in a highly competitive match.  The Gold team came out victorious, to remain undefeated in the 9/10 roster, inflicting the Navy team’s first defeat of the season.   It was all smiles after the match, with both teams enjoying a laugh.
