Years F & 1 

This week it has been all things number in our classroom. We have been looking at making numbers using the tens and ones, counting the collection, and writing the number. I have been super impressed with how well the students went and seeing all of them practicing counting by tens to make the number. We had a bit of fun and they had to get a certain amount of tens and ones and make a picture with that amount. Afterward, they had to count and write how much they had. 

In art this week the students finished their piece for the Red Gum Festival. After making sure they were ready to go the students then went back and finished the symmetry beetle we started a few weeks ago. They came up great and look fantastic on the wall.
