Spring flower fundraiser

Thanks to everyone who bought bulbs for the PFA fundraiser last term - we’re proud to announce that due to WPS community interest in spring bulbs, $2,363.50 in orders were placed, resulting in a profit to the school of $945.40!

Many thanks to Anna for organising the fundraiser. We’re all looking forward to seeing Woodend burst into colour at the end of winter!

Easter Raffle 

The Easter raffle fundraiser took $965 in ticket sales at the end of last term, a fantastic result with buyers vying for some fantastic Easter packages. This made $842 profit - thank you everyone for your enthusiastic ticket-buying, and special thanks to Krista for organising the raffle and beautiful prizes!

Mothers’ Day morning tea - call-out to those of us who AREN’T mothers!

The PFA is looking for assistance (from non-mothers) to help with the Mothers’ Day morning tea. We will be looking for help to celebrate the mothers in our community. We’ll need assistance on the day to set up, serve morning tea, and pack down. Keep an eye out on Compass and in the next newsletter for announcements of how to sign up!

If you happen to have a connection to a bakery or similar, who might be interested in being involved through an in-kind sponsorship, please let us know at wpspfa@gmail.com

WPS Parents and Friends Association (PFA) next Meeting
