Year 7 Cross Country Preparation
In preparation for the cross-country event coming up (1 May), students in year 7 will walk the cross country track in one of their PE lessons over the next 3 weeks of school including; Weeks 10 and 11 (term 1) and Week 1 (term 2). The exact lesson will be weather dependent.
Students will walk to Bell Street, complete the course and return to school during their PE lesson. Students will need warm clothes, water bottle, hat, sunscreen and any personal medication (if necessary). Teachers will accompany students for the duration of the lesson.
Chamber Music Concert
Tuesday 9 April | 6pm - 7pm
We are pleased to invite you to the Friends’ Chamber Music Concert at The Farrall Centre. This is a wonderful opportunity for our young musicians to present music on a smaller scale in an intimate setting. Through this annual performance opportunity, students and audiences alike have discovered a lifelong appreciation for collaborative chamber music.
The Middle School House Pantomime
Friday 31 May | 6pm
Hot off the press, the news is out! The Middle School House Pantomime will be the night of nights for House spirit and frivolity. Student House Leaders drew their fairytale out of a hat at the Middle School Assembly, and performances will be as follows:
- Hodgkin: Cinderella
- Ransome: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
- Unwin: Jack and the Beanstalk
- Mather: Hansel and Gretel
Written with a Friends’ School twist, House Panto promises to be a School event not to be missed!
