Calling all Old Boys
Marist College Ashgrove Old Boys are uniting to raise $300,000 to complete the renovation of the Cyprian Pavillon.
The Support the Cyprian campaign kicked off on Super Saturday – alongside Old Boys’ reunions and the Firsts’ thrilling win over arch-rivals Lauries – and has already clocked over $70,000!
Every donation or pledge from an Old Boy (or Old Boys’ immediate family) is generously being matched (dollar for dollar) by the Class of ’66 until 31 August.
As of Tuesday 3 June, at 8:30am, the league table looks like this:
- 1950s Old Boys leading the pack with $55,550 in donations
- 1980s Old Boys are sitting on a respectable $14,500
- 1990 Old Boys $2,706
- 2000s Old Boys $500
- 1970s Old Boys $400
- 1960s Old Boys $200 includes Class of ’66 matching donor
- 2010s Old Boys $0
- 2020s Old Boys $0
Nobody knows where our most recent Old Boys are – maybe out surfing???

You are also very welcome to make your own donation arrangement. The College is being very flexible in supporting the OBA so you can email cyprian@marash.qld.edu.au or call 0434 074 372 / 07 3858 4555 to discuss how best to structure your contribution (eg over two financial years). As long as you commit to a donation before 31 August, your gift will be doubled. You have until 31 December to deposit the funds.
