Illustration and Design

The VC16 Illustration and Design students created an illustration that embodied the feel or mood of a piece of music, also using Album covers for inspiration.

Wood Technology

Year 8 students are working on building a small coffee table, while Year 9 students are creating Adirondack Chairs. It was all systems go in Mr Redmond's classroom last week while students measured twice and cut once, or sanded their work ready for the next step. 

Home Workshop

Students recently learned how to service common household items. They came to school with equipment such as lawn mowers, ride on mowers, log splitters and more, then tuned them up to learn these important maintenance skills.

Science

Junior Science students explored the heart's anatomy through a heart dissection. Guided by Shantelle Stimson’s expertise, students learned about the cardiovascular system's intricacies and the heart's vital role in our bodies. They were also supported by Year 10 student Josiah, who was undertaking work experience as a science lab technician.
