Principal's Message

St Luke's... "nurturing faith filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world."

Dear Parents and Carers,

As both your principal and a fellow parent navigating the joyful chaos of raising children, I’m excited to share a new tool that promises to lighten our loads—School.TV. Parenting is truly the toughest gig out there, especially when you realise kids don’t come with a reset button or an instruction manual.

In order to support parents as the primary educator of our children here at St Luke’s, we have purchased a system called School TV.  This platform is like having a wise old sage at your fingertips, ready to dispense knowledge on everything from helping your child forge friendships to tackling the tween years and beyond.

Further information regarding this wonderful resource will be forthcoming from Mr Chris Bettiol our Leader of Wellbeing, Growth and Development.

Last year, at our staff formation day, our staff began the process of constructing a school prayer. Students have also been consulted, and we are at the point where we would love to get some parent feedback on the concepts and structure in the prayer. This has an important impact on our school, the vision and culture of our Catholic Identity, and we would love to get as many parents input as possible. If you would like to join this important work - please fill out this form

Finally, I would just like to once again thank parents for their care and support during my time off.  A number of parents emailed through their best wishes and prayers over a difficult time with my recent illness.  I also wish to acknowledge the work of Mrs Kate Kelly, our acting Principal during this time, as well as all members of our leadership team for supporting Mrs Kelly and myself to ensure the consistent running of the school.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Kelly Bauer
