Dear HPS Community,

National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week began on May 27th and ends on June 3rd. This year’s theme is Now More Than Ever. This week at HPS students spent time learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ culture and traditions, their contributions and achievements along with significant dates in history. These events included Mabo Day and the 1967 referendum. Students also explored how we can work together to achieve reconciliation in Australia. Below are some samples of the great work completed during the week.
