In the Spotlight

Hello Ocean Grove Primary Community! My name is Sebastian Earle I’m currently teaching Year 4. I have been at OGPS since 2021 after moving from Ashburton, Melbourne where I had been teaching for 15 years.

I grew up in Stawell with my parents and three big sisters before moving to Melbourne to study teaching. Mrs Earle and I gravitated to Ocean Grove as its family-orientated and small community offered a perfect place to bring up our two sons Alfie and Jimmy. It is also the perfect place to pursue my passion for fishing, running and all things outdoors. When I’m not with my family or on the boat I enjoy cooking, travelling, entomology and walking my Cairn Terrier Annie on the beach. I also really enjoy mowing my lawn.

This year has been exciting for me as all four members of the Earle family have joined Ocean Grove Primary School and I have loved watching my boys grow up in an environment similar to Stawell – kids with dirty knees, playing sport, riding bikes and searching for adventure. What a great place to live and learn!
