As the Learner Diversity Leader my role is to support and guide our classroom teachers with their planning documents, ensuring that we have encompassed the best support for our students with diverse needs. Furthermore, I am excited to be working with Kris Millard our school Social Worker and Bianca Schmidt our Pastoral Wellbeing Support Worker,  where we can continue to grow and promote our school community within our respective roles.  Feel free to reach out via email and introduce yourself should you require assistance in the area of diverse learning needs.

Kris Millard

School Social Worker: kmillard@hrwhitehills.catholic.edu.au

Hello! I'm Kris, it’s so nice to pop on here and introduce myself. My journey at Holy Rosary started in Term Three 2023. I have worked as a Social Worker for 11 years, my background includes individual counselling, case management and training facilitation. My areas of interest and background include supporting children through grief and loss, trauma, attachment disruptions and mental health. I am passionate about helping children gain insights into their unique life experiences, and explore how these may be influencing their relationships, thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and perspective on the world. I use play, art and movement or music in all my counselling sessions, which means my office gets very messy!
