Reminder:

On Wednesday, May 22nd we will be joining the National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS). NSS is an important annual campaign that aims to encourage young children to read and enjoy books as well as teach them the value of literacy. The book for this year is a ripper called Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker. You can find copies of this book and other wonderful books in our school library.

The Library Action Team will be encouraging all students to wear blue or something bird like on the day. I have suggested a bird on their head or some feathers. They will also be constructing a Bowerbird Blues collage wall in the library. This will involve students collecting, finding, making something that's blue and sticking it to the wall. 

Get collecting people! Bring in something blue and it will be added to the wall collage of blue.
