Partnerships and Pathways

Lunch and Learn continues in Term 2 with our ‘discover university’ series as well as diverse and interesting career showcases. A report from the OECD (2023), "Career talks with guest speakers: A guide to delivering an effective career development activity", provides compelling evidence for why regular career presentations, such as our Lunch and Learn series, are of great value to students. Not only do these opportunities provide new and useful insights into the world of work, they enable more informed decision-making about education and training, provide access to work-based experiences and develop a stronger sense of personal agency and confidence in understanding the characteristics of professional pathways.

Here is a calendar of upcoming Lunch & Learn events in the first half of the term - featuring some of our parents, which we are very grateful for. If your daughter is interested in attending she simply needs to RSVP using the links below

We’re always keen to hear from parents, carers and alumnae who may be interested in being guest speakers in our Lunch and Learn series. So please let us know if you would be interested in supporting this guest speaker series one day!

Our College is excited to once again partner with Multiplex and Western Sydney International Airport for Multiplex Jumpstart in 2024, a unique mentoring initiative to give female students a holistic view of the construction industry and its diverse career pathways. The first workshop in the Tertiary (Engineering) program for our Year 9 and 10 students (Sienna, Nikita, Gianna and Caitlin) was an Introduction to the Built Environment. It was wonderful to hear from Caroline Chisholm alumnae, Alissa Anastasio, Senior Community Engagement Officer at WSI, who provided an overview of the site and the amazing progress towards the 2026 opening. Thank you to the fantastic team at Multiplex who generously shared their career pathway stories with our students.

Year 12 students are encouraged to access the three documents relating to their Post School Pathways Plan and discuss these with their families as they begin to map out what’s next in 2025 and beyond. To access these resources students simply go to the Careers at Canvas page and scroll down to the bottom of the page. One of the key elements in the Post School Pathways Plan is for students to meet with us for a coaching conversation.
