Leadership Begins Here

What an amazing group of students we have at Holy Family.

Our Year 6 students ran school tours, promoting our school this Thursday Night and Friday Morning for Open Day. They represented themselves and the school magnificently. Demonstrating their confidence and leadership skills and their passion for the Holy Family community. We thank them for their time, effort and enthusiasm!

Jaslyn

Good Evening Parents! I am Jaslyn Lo and I’m one of Holy Family’s passionate school Leaders. Our Catholic Mission is an incredibly important part of our school curriculum. As disciples of Jesus, we embody our school motto - Strength through Gentleness - in every aspect of our learning life. With compassion and kindness, and the leadership of our dedicated Mission Team we lead our school with pride and passion. With compassion and empathy for others, we fundraise for charitable organisations like St Vincent de Paul, Mary Mac’s House and CARITAS. We strive to use the Gospel Values and help those in need, creating a happier and healthier school community. Additionally, as a Catholic Learning Community, we also have masses and liturgies throughout the year. No matter where you come from or even if you come from a different religion, Holy Family will welcome you into our inclusive environment with open arms!

Seoa

Hello I am Seoa and I am proud to be part of the 2024 leadership team. Here at Holy Family, we always encourage each student to be the unique individual that they are. We encourage positive behaviour during learning; We have wellbeing weeks every term, where we do fun and engaging activities to improve our social, emotional and physical wellbeing! Here at Holy Family we are all considered as leaders, leaders of our own learning and our own choices. Holy Family students always strive to try their best, do their best and be their best self. We are leaders from the minute we walk into Kindergarten till the time we leave Year 6. Because we recognise all our unique gifts and talents we have lots of opportunities to demonstrate this like with our Strings Ensemble, Choir and band! We also participate in the Religious Creative Art Competition. Through mediums such as art and music, we celebrate our catholic faith and grow closer to God.

Katie

My name is Katie and I am part of this fantastic school leadership team. Holy Family has many opportunities. Here at Holy Family we start learning  from our Kindy transition programs where our new students come and get ready for school. Right through to the leadership opportunities in Year 6. Holy family has  a variety of interesting educational activities, such as ICAS, STEAM, Maths Olympiad, TOM. We also have many opportunities to do extra curricular activities, Such as Debating, public speaking, Dance classes, chess club, sport clinics, sport clubs and many more. We have some of the most dedicated and professional staff who work very hard to help us reach our learning goals and our potential.

Carlos

Good evening I’m Carlos and I’m one of the School Leaders this year. At Holy Family. In Year 5 and 6, we have the opportunity to apply for one of the many leadership roles, from School Leaders to Sport, Mission, Music and more! As a Leader, we are responsible for our job and we’re very dedicated to what we do. Additionally, Senior students are also engaged with the Kinder buddy program, where we have the chance to take care of and help the youngest students at Holy Family, because the transition to Big School is a huge step for them. Even if you’re not a member of Senior School, you have the chance to become an SRC in our student representative council, which starts from Year 2 giving students a voice and the opportunity to make change for others at school. Being a part of the Holy Family Community is the best experience and we feel privileged to have learnt so much and grown into the leaders we are today.  Thank you.
