5/6 Summer Gala Day 1

Last Thursday saw our 5/6 students play in the first District Sport Gala Day.  All of our 5/6's represented our school across 4 different sports: Teeball, Volleyball, Hot Shots tennis and T20 Blast cricket.

SJV students had been practicing since week 2 and we had many great results throughout the day!  Teeball boys had many highlights including multiple home runs and brilliant outfield catches!  Teeball girls saw great improvement in fielding and a magnificent home run from Zahra!  The tennis team had many singles match wins, as did the 4 volleyball teams.  The cricketers also won plenty of games and played with great sportsmanship and teamwork.

Well done to all of our students, and a big thnk you to the parents who were able to come and help supervise and support our teams!

Final results will not be known until Summer Gala Day 2 is completed early next term.
